Merril-cameras: More detail in web-sized images?

I have a X-E1 and DP2m and would say below about 1.5 MP resolution the differences are hardly visible anymore. Above that, very fine details, textures and general clarity still stand out in favor of the DP2m, even when heavily reduced in size and both files sharpened accordingly. So I guess it depends on your definition of "web-sized".
