This may be the most active m43 forum, but it's also the most depressing. It seems 1 out of every 2 posts is someone arguing with someone else.

Just now, I saw:

- A post about m43 lenses possibly having better performance at larger apertures, an interesting topic turn into a religious debate on when/why one should stop down.

- A post, seemingly a troll post to begin with talking about how m43s are losing their size advantage and becoming same size as dslrs.

- Same posts about people either inquiring into implications of smaller sensor size getting scolded, perhaps because their intentions were misunderstood, or full on trolling posts about the so called inadequacies of 43 format.

All the forums on DPR can be a bit frustrating as people love to praise and defend to the death the camera that they purchased.

There's a bit of an odd dynamic here though where when the minute a poster brings up another format or brand, the m43 evangelism begins and we get all the "boat anchor" jokes, and get to hear about how wonderful the EM-5 is. Of course this works the other way when people come here to purposely ruffle feathers.

But what I love about this forum, in all honesty, is how passionate members are about their gear and photography.  Nikon is currently producing the very best DSLRs available on the market, but stop by the Nikon FX forum and you'd think that Nikon was offering the worst cameras in the world with all the complaining that goes on there.  I shoot Nikon FX, but I stopped going there as unlike this forum, it really is depressing.
