Is there an open-aperture framing mode in Sony SLT cameras?

Thanks so far! Shady1991 and Bart7D answered it, seems the SLTs behave just like the (D)SLRs did and do. Now I only wonder why Sony decided to change for the NEX cameras what was a perfectly sane behaviour. Or maybe that's only for the entry-level NEX models, to save the expense of an FOV preview button/function? But that would probably better be asked in the NEX forum.
