processing times.

hi everyone. have a question for event photographers ive been shooting dance schools for my self for 4 years now a do quite well from them. i just shot a formal for a studio and they asked if i would process and pp the photos . so i did them in 17 hours 450 order photos. put in my invoice and the company said they could have done them in 4 ? at $20ph i could have earnt $700 as a carpenter and im getting paid $80 for processing ? this industry sucks.

another year has gone, just cleared my 200 gallery images will start all over again, thanks to everyone that took the time to look.
