2 things I wish I'd known about before buying an SX50. (EVF & Grip observations).

Ah, at least the screen is one feature I really like. Partly because my old S1 proved to me how useful such a thing can be, and partly because it's the best resolution screen I've ever had on a camera. My 40D is a good enough tool that neither the 50 or 60D have persuaded me to upgrade, but in some areas it's fallen well behind. I do like a screen I can actually check focus on properly without zooming in to a nasty embedded jpg of dubious quality.

Anyway, nice to see there's a gang of us who got the same deal. Maybe we can act as a support group as we clamber up this tricky learning curve. :->
