Hi Jerry,

Unfortunately ires still doesn't work for me. I can get much better results with NR and sharpness set to -2. Even in darker grass scenes taken at dusk. My grass turned out all smudged with ires on and NR set to 0. It was the worse in the shadows. Plus bokeh has a lot of that twisted artifact when sharpness is up too high.

I also find that with NR set to -2 my ISO 400 and higher are sharper!  That's different from what you are finding.
