Sorry for the late reply...all the images were made in open shade..so all is natural light and the 'highlights' in the eyes are just the bright 'african' light. Only problem was that the light reflected off the floor was brighter at the bottom of the image and darker towards the top...but easily balanced in lightroom...depth of field is just via common and garden variety 24-105l at very close focus distance...who needs f1.4 when F4 will do?
