Point and Shoot upgrade advice
Nov 23, 2012

Hello,

I am seeking advice on which traveling camera i should keep/buy since i needed an upgrade on my canon sd1000 (5 years old).  I just bought the Canon S100 for $229 (big sale online today so i didn't get a chance to try it out yet), bought the Olympus Tough TG-1ihs for $355 last week ( a little big but pretty good pics), and there is a sale for the Panasonic LX7 for $299 with a f1.4.

Which camera would you pick?

Few things i am looking for in a camera

Most important is low light/fast shots since we like to take pictures of food and such during dinner.

I do not edit my photos.  Raw is a plus but not necessary.

Is it possible to do bokeh on any of these cameras? That would be cool.

The TG-1 is waterproof up to 40 feet which is great...but not sure its worth the extra $125.

Thanks for your comments.
