Best legacy 50 f1.4 prime

I had both on my Nex5, the Nokton was higher resolving wide open and more pleasent bokeh (9blades d.), I sold the CY Contax Zeis that was a great performer anyway.

Both lenses are state of the art made, and the manual focus ring creamy and smooth a joy to use.
Actually my second MF vintage lens is an Olympus OM Zuiko 100mm f2.8 MC. (as small and heavy as the Contax Zeiss CY 50 1.4!), tag sharp wide open from center to corners.

Olympus Zuiko OM lenses are the most compact out there, and for construction (talking about MF lenses of that time) second only to Leica and Zeiss (including Contax Ziess)
