What is happening with dpreview?

Your remark is not worth the (formerly) highly reputated site.

You obviously prefer Canon over Sony and Panasonic, that's ok. But you should use objective, not only subjective reasons for your awards. It's interesting, that almost nobody understands your ratings any more. And that's by far not only the case with Sony and/or Panasonic fanboys.

And yes, I have already used the G15. It is a good camera. Very good. But no way she is in a higher category (gold instead of silver) than the RX100 or the LX7. I can't see how anybody can rate the G15 higher than these two cameras. On the same level: ok, but absolutely not more.

The RX100 was groundbreaking. Not less. not more. But that is nothing in your world. The RX100 HAS some (important) defaults. But she was groundbreaking. The G15 ist very good. But just normal evolution. With your gold award, you give a strange sign. Especially if we consider, that dpreview ist normally underlying the importance of the sensor size. But that is only important for other brands. Not for Canon.

Sad.

Very, very sad.

It's not the "old" dpreview anymore.
