Yeah is a lot of money with this sale but like someone said..really, you cant go wrong. you can get your money back very likely by selling it later.
For me is a matter of not having OSS for video recording the only thing making me think about it.

I rarely use video mode so I may not need OSS. However, 2.8 is quite slow compare to 1.8.


I can tell you that the Sigma does not give the subject isolation of a faster lens. It's not really doable to blur our the background with the Sigma. However, it is optically as good as any lens out there. I doubt the Sony will perform as well sharpness wise. OSS is always a great thing though... Huge advantage on any lens if you ask me. Stills or video.
