Reasonably priced tripod suggestion...

My Manfrotto Digi 728B tripod kicked the bucket. One of the snaps on a leg broke and though we got the part it seems impossible to install the new one. So I am looking for a similar tripod to replace it. I would like it to be reasonably light and sturdy and not too expensive. I will be using it for two main purposes, to support my camera while I photograph paintings for other artists, and to support my small outdoor painting box which is 9X12 inches in size and has a tripod attachment on the bottom. It is not super heavy. The camera setup I will be supporting is the GH3 and 14-45 lens. Any suggestions?
