Getting to the next skill level

My advise is to never fall into the trap of thinking that if you buy a more expensive camera that you will become a better photographer. Great photographers can get great shots with a P&S.

Get a book on the rules of composition and learn them. Read the book many times.

Start shooting RAW and post process your shots. This will make a huge improvement.
