We the People *NEED* Forum Moderation

You forgot the second part of the story. Since you were banned and could no longer communicate with the mod, you asked me to pass on a message to him, which I did, with the result that I was banned too. So he also took an enquiry as to the reason for the ban as an assault on his authority, enough so to shoot the messenger. Though maybe I should have read the message before passing it on. DPR moderation is not necessarily the worst, but any mod insecure enough to need to act in private isn't doing the job properly.
