Seriously, shoot a Gretag McBeth calibration chart and feed that into the Adobe DNG Profile Editor. Or just buy the X-rite Passport system for around $100.

Either way, you'll end up with an ACR camera profile calibrated for your camera, under your choice of lighting. Thereafter, ACR or Lightroom will give you bang on colors. Shoot with more than one body? Calibrate both and get highly consistent colors between the two.

Spot on colors without the guesswork or hassle. It's an easy choice in my view.
