XF1 is no F200 update, it is too fancy and expensive and has zoom only up to 100 mm, not 140 like F200, big difference in usability and appeal as a pocket camera. Still no real F200 successor from Fuji.
The XF1 has 25mm at the wide end and f/1.8. I would take that over 140mm, which is useless to me (not much different from 100mm). XF1 also has a much higher useable ISO.

What about the fancy and expensive part? 140 mm is not much different for you, but for me it is a big difference. F1.8 is just a teaser on XF1. F200 was a practical, utilitarian compact with money spent where it matters, not on a stupid lens contraption which means having to use the small camera with two hands always.
A quick crop and I have 140mm. Very easy.
