Wow! nice shots. How are you enjoying the camera?

I have been waiting for xf1 in Korea. Are images similar/ better/

worse than x10? Does the new menu system work for you?

I find it both good and bad.

The GOOD:

Small. I needed a pocket camera and this thing fits in my pocket easily. Much smaller than my X10.

No ORBS. I gave it an orb torture test and it did pretty well.

The menus. Very nice improvement to the menu system. Makes the X10 feel well out of date.

The BAD:

Very cheap feeling lens. Worst lens by far as far as feeling goes. The X10 lens feels very high quality. The XF1 feels tinny and fragile.

Super slow lens. f/1.8 lasts almost never. As soon as you zoom in, you find yourself at f/4 REAL fast.

The on/off switch is awful. You can tell how stupid it is with Fujifilm's instructions. They had THREE sets of instructions on how to turn the camera on. The manual, a separate handout, and a sticker on the camera. it's just stupid. And VERY fragile feeling. I doubt this will last for years.

That's it so far. Have not had a serious chance to shake it out yet. More later.

You need to rename yourself X-Man.

That name is reserved for people who LIKE X cameras.  Not hate them.

Although the lens feels fragile it may not be any more fragile than a typical F series camera lens. The difference is you have to handle it all the time.

Good observation.

Is it sharp?

Seems so, but i'm just getting started.
