HELP! What is this on my lens?

This has been an interesting journey.
I started a thread here asking the community to ID what was inside my lens:

Then I started disassembly:

I managed to get the rear group off and I have access to the surface where the mystery aberrations are. Except they don't wipe off, nor are they white; they look like "oil slicks" that don't wipe? Looking directly at the lens, you cannot see it. It is only when intense light hits at certain angles that you see these spots with oily sheens of purple or green?
Given the way the spots play on light, I am certain it is on the surface, so I can get at it. But what with?
I've looked up photos of fungus and this isn't what I expect (you can see fugus head on, right?), I've looked up photos of haze, but some are lots of "pinpoints", not like this, while others sort of look like this?
If you guys wouldn't mind a second look, any help would be appreciated. I have lenses to get even more macro if necessary.
Thanks!
