how to measure for amount of microadjustment needed when using A mount lenses?

I just bought an LA-EA2 for my NEX-7 to play with A-mount lenses, and I've been told that sometimes lenses using the traditional PDAF can consistently misfocus, and that you'll have to microadjust to achieve accurate focus. How do I measure for how much microadjustment is needed though? thanks.
