Wildlife photographer shot and seriously injured

This is very sad news:

Dutch wildlife photographer Adri de Visser was shot last Saturday night during a robbery in Nairobi, Kenia.

Adri was hit by 5 or 6 bullets and will almost certain be paralyzed and blind for the rest of his life.

Adri is a real Africa addict and gave us some very special pictures of the extraordinary wildlife of this beautiful (but sometimes to harsh) continent.
