Although I'm not a Win expert I've been using MS/DOS since the 1st IBM 8088 came out, and Win on PCs since it 1st came out whenever that was. I can tell you that I never ever have liked Win backup/restore since it is so flaky. On the advice of DP (now called IT) guys I used Alladin Ghost, which in later years eventually became Norton Ghost. On the advice on people here on dpreview (like I posted earlier) I downloaded Macrium Reflect Free last week, cloned my drive to an external drive via the USB3.0 port, and it booted the 1st time. WOW I never seen that before with Norton Ghost 14.0, where I always had to fumble around with Win recovery DVDs and such.
