This my opinion. your budget is 2300 dollars.... the A99 with CZ 24-70 f/2.8 will cost you almost 5,000 dollars.. So why even consider it.? You are not financially ready for it.

ON the other hand, the A77 with Kit ( 16-50 f/2.8 ) will bring you 12 FF per sec, and an outrageously fun and feature packed camera. at a price right now at 1699. leaving with an excess of 600 to save toward a FF camera down the road...And with this purchase you have upped your game considerably... in my 50 years of shooting and 20 of that in digital, I can tell you that the A77 is the absolute best camera Ive ever owned... and the 15-50 f/2.8 is brilliant and In my opinion would be designated a " G" series Lens if it was Full Frame.. the camera and the lens fall into the weather resistant scheme design. If you were my grandson this is what I would suggest. You will be in the high end game right away and don't have to wait in order to get the money ( an additional 2700 dollars ) and how long will it take you to get that.?

as far as the two lenses.. the CZ is not worth the extra 1300 dollars IMO. the 16-50 2.8 is short on the long end but still an extremely brilliant lens. @ 16 mm (24 mm in 35 mm trim ) its wide enough to do in door shots at 2.8. I use mine all the time.

Bottom line, given the money you have, I would jump on the A77 and 16-50 f/2.8 and be in the game in the next week. perfect for the holidays... You can use that extra 600 for a nice flash HVL-58 no need for an adapter, and possibly the Vertical grip... Its nice to have an extra battery " In the camera " if you decide to do stills and movies at the same time, with no need to switch out batteries in the middle of a movie.
