D800E + 70-300 VR

Interesting post and samples. I was happy with my copy that I had since it first came out. Performed quite well for the price. Decided to sell when I went with the 28-300 VR to give me the flexibility of the wider end.The D800e seems to get the best out of some of the lower tier of lenses! Even my DX Tokina 11-16 at 16mm does a creditable job when I want even wider than 28mm. Neat!
