New EF-S lenses in 2013? I'd love to see a fast telephoto

Canon Rumors has a rumor that there will be new EF-S lenses such as a fisheye and a macro with IS out in the first half of 2013 in support of the new 7D Mk II.
The EF-S lens I'd really like to see is a 70-200 f/2.8 IS equivalent and I mean equivalent in image quality. It doesn't have to be exactly 70-200mm, but make it a constant aperture f/2.8 with top quality optics and 4+ stop IS. Given the smaller glass this could be a sub $1200 lens. What crop shooter wouldn't want a smaller, lighter, cheaper 70-200mm /f2.8 IS with the same IQ?
Or do the physics of lens making for crop vs FF even out as you get to the super telephoto range such that you can't make a 200mm+ lens for cheaper? The EF-S 55-250mm seems to suggest you can though.
