D600 and NIKKOR 70-300 F/4.5-5.5 G VR IF-ED

Does anyone have any experience shooting the d600 and the  NIKKOR 70-300 F/4.5-5.5 G VR IF-ED. I had this lens before with my d7000. Just wondering about peoples experience and if it worth keeping or maybe i sell it. Its mint condition only been used a couple times so i think i could do good selling or trading in on another lens. I would like to get a short zoom 2.8 of some kind,
