Are the rx1 andrx100 a good pair?

I never thought I would own a sony but when I heard about the rx1 I ordered it right away. I have become so wrestless in waiting for it that I ordered an rx100 to pass the time.  Iam hoping they will make good  companions. When I want something more compact or am in a situation where I am worried about the camera, I can just grab the rx100. In many ways the rx100 may be more versatile too. The fact that they have the same batteries heltoo also. I am coming from a line of DSLRs and most recently, an M8. Is anyone else considering having the RX set?
