Sorry, but it's true. He may be brave (or stupid) for jumping out of airplanes, but he doesn't know squat about photography.  This statement alone demonstrate his ignorance:

Have you ever taken a look at a beautiful portrait of a person where their eyes are in sharp focus, but the background’s blurred? That effect is called bokeh, and you’ll also hear people call it “depth of field”.

Bokeh and depth of field are not the same thing. And the fact that he doesn't know that tells me not to listen to him about photography.

And while his comparison of DOF and f-stop of m43 to "full size" sensors is true (more or less), he doesn't define what a "full size sensor" is. The vast, vast majority of DSLRs in use today do not use "full size" sensors, and the difference in DOF between an APS-C camer and an m43 camera is only about 2/3 stop. But the unknowing who read this article won't understand that. They'll think their Rebel has a "full size" sensor in it.

BTW, what does "full access to the Indy 500 and Lingerie Football league" mean, anyway? And what does being invited to the Playboy mansion have to do with photography?

Like that car commercial says, "They'll give anyone a blog these days."

A blog for those without knowledge or understanding written by one of their own. Gotta love the internet.
