Well there's also this post from a different source, that has no incentive to lie considering they need to rent gear in order to make money, stating that all cameras get dust but EVERY SINGLE D600 had to be cleaned after each rental.

EVERY SINGLE D600 I have had personal access to does not have the problem. See how a few cameras either way doesn't make much of an argument? 20 cameras is nothing, and they did not say they performed the same tests on all their other rental cameras (making their comparisons useless) and they have no idea how those cameras were used. They also use a questionable sensor cleaning method (as pointed out by some other users). It also stands to reason that the "cheaper" cameras get rented with "cheaper" lenses that are telescoping in nature which suck in dust. I'm not saying any of that is definitely true, but you must look at all possible scenarios that are equally as likely as the next.
Also I don't believe in getting hysterical over this but I've been on the fence about moving to FF (I so miss a bigger viewfinder, actual lens FL's and the magical high ISO) but I'm not going to invest in a D600 that has to be wet cleaned weekly. Also the D800 has been well documented for issues not just with the camera but Nikon's horrible service department.
"D600 that has" to be wet cleaned weekly" - those are the comments I am talking about. You imply that every D600 has a problem. What is more likely? Most D600's are affected or a small percentage (which can still be a large number) of D600's are affected?
I don't have a bulk of expensive Nikon glass so switching to Canon isn't out of the question. Do I want to? No I really love Nikon and their ecosystem but I'm not going to invest thousands into a camera that may have (yet another) issue right out of the gate that Nikon denies exists.
Canon's oil problems were significant enough for them to issue a service advisory for two separate models, so I guess Canon is out of the question for you too. Try Sony, they don't have a moving mirror:

The 5DM3 I had for testing also had dust/oil spots on the sensor when I looked for them but guess what? Most people don't go looking for them and probably never know they are there.
