Musings on X3F...

...as they enforce quite a heavy workload as well on my PC as on the 2 internal CPU's of the DP2M itself,

why, why why, isn't there a pure RAW only option?

Let's make it X4F, I don't care but IMO as long as there ain't an embedded jpg, for this might:

• significant enhance batterylife
• reduce writing times as IMO these take so much time not solely due to writing data but merely because of the jpg processing

Just my 2 cents...
