24-70 CZ vs 16-50 SSM, A99 vs A77?

How does the adapter degrade the quality of the lens? NEX-7 and A77 share the same sensor. Since the NEX does not have a transluent mirror it might be the other way around.

This is a huge maybe. What about trying to get some jobs and getting some experience without dumping your whole budget?

There is a reason why even a lot of professionals rent lenses on a regular basis. The reason is not that the prefer buying porsches over lenses.

I wouldn't call using an A77 wasted time.

Don't wanna be the stick-in-the-mud and you didn't "want" negative feedback but it looks like you didn't think this through. Your budget is way to short for FF. When you want to build up some nice equipment the body is only a small part of it. You need a bunch of lenses (the 16-50 is a nice start), (more than one) flash, software, backup possibilities ... . Even stuff like bags, batteries, memory cards and camera strap adds up.

In your position I might even consider getting an A57. Better start slow and finish strong. The A77 or even A99 might be much better on paper but the A57 is a powerful tool and capable of fantastic pictures. Later on it'S still good enough as a backup body.
