Thoughts? No FW800 on new iMacs

A lot of my backups are on FW400 & FW800 drives and if I wish to connect all these via FW, I would just stick in a FW card in the last free expansion PCIe slot. If Apple ever updates the Mac Pro tower, expansion will come via PCIe cards.

Expansion already has come via PCIe cards to all TB-equipped Macs:
