i was kinda offended by that remark, as a beginner to dslr a ENTRY level camera is perfect for me, the 1100D was made for people like me.
im a member on a few photo forums and I often get people looking down on my camera, I say buy what your happy with and don't listen to much camera knocking
The quest for the best is often the mortal enemy of the very good, and the T3/1100D is very good. My first DSLR was an EOS D60, which made superb 12x18 image enlargements with only 6MP, and AF, metering, etc... that was nowhere near the level of the T3.
