Christian,

I have noticed that some Merrill images when sized at screen/web resolution seem to show great details, but not all. There are a lot of options for resizing images, and I think it must be beneficial to pick the right one for them - probably one that does not provide any sharpening in the algorithm, and then only sharpening them once they are resized, and very 'gently' as they are sharp to start with. For a small image, the smart sharpen in photoshop with a 0.1 pixel and 70 - 200% seems to work well for me.

Of course this is probably true of any image, and not just the ones from Sigma cameras.
