x100/xe1 shutter lag

Hi everybody, I have been an early adopter of x100 but it got stolen one year ago so I don't have the camera anymore and I don't know how better is with firmware upgrades.

I loved the camera for everything but the shutter lag in bright light was really annoying. I know anybody here knows what I'm talking about. Even in manual focus mode there was a bad lag after the pressure of the shutter.

When my X100 got stolen I didn't think to buy it again because of that problem but now I'm reading that with firmware 1.30 the camera is much more responsive, so the questions are:

- has the X100 none or less shutter lag (aperture dance lag) with the new firmware?

- how is the XE1 in this department?

I don't need super fast autofocus, those cameras aren't for that. I use a lot hyperfocal and zone focus, specially for street photography and it is very annoying when you press the shutter to catch a moment and you miss it because af the lag.
