there is no such thing as "back-focus" as used in the context of this discussion.  "Back focus" refers to the tendancy of some phase detection systems to focus on an object other than the object of interest.  It is not a scalar qauntity.

Do you mean flange distance?  If so it varies greatly amoung APS mirrorless cameras.

Also, cite your source for the contention that "mirrorless u 43 offers......more freedom in optical design".
