Back in my Nikon film days I borrowed a 135mm DC lens from the Nikon agent in Australia and sorted out what it can do, very expensive for little benefit for anyone but a fastidious pro user.

Examples when fiddling with the Nikon 135mm DC lens.

So sensor size does not matter at all, it's the design of the lens. Find a good one and adapt it to M4/3 is the answer. Or be lucky and find a true M4/3 lens that delivers decent background Bokeh, I think the M4/3 40-150mm is not too bad.

Thanks for the link to the Nikon 135 DC examples. It explains much!
