The lenses from the original Olympus compact system cameras, the Olympus Pen F series, perhaps not surprisingly, work particularly well on the digital Pen cameras.

Even from a purely practical point of view they work really nicely. The flange distance on a Pen F SLR is much shorter than the flange distance on a 35mm SLR, so the adapter can be much smaller and neater. And the styling looks great on the digital Pens too.

I particularly like the 40mm f/1.4 lens... this is what it looks like on my E-P1 and E-PL3:

And here are some images (all shot on the E-P1 since I only got the E-PL3 2 days ago and I've not had a chance to try out this combination yet!)

This is one of the original Olympus Pen F SLRs (in this case the Pen FT model) wearing the 25mm f/4 wide-angle lens.
