Pentax is the only brand that gets this right

I don't own a Pentax, but the TAv mode seems very useful to me, since it lets you control both DOF and motion blur at the same time. It's more convenient than full manual since you don't have to fiddle with setting the third variable, ISO, and since it allows exposure compensation.
Nikon also has the mode implicitly with auto ISO in manual. Apart from that I don't know of any brands that has the mode. Om my OM-D I can use auto ISO in manual, but I don't have exposure compensation.
To me TAv (and its Nikon equivalent) seems like the most useful mode of them all — so how much do you use the mode?
I use TAv all the time.
Fuji implements a A-S (TAv) mode in manual mode, so does maybe Samsung on their later NX cameras.
Sadly though, Pentax is the only brand that gets this right. On Nikon it makes me infuriated that you have to disable Auto ISO to get to manual mode, and that involves menu diving as "Auto ISO" is not one of the selectable ISO settings like it is on most cameras. I think the latest models fixed this, but there is no reason they couldn't provide it as a firmware update to older models.
Overriding manual mode is not a good way to do this. Unlike with film, ISO is a distinctly controllable variable for setting the image brightness, so it should have its own mode.
