Experience with the 24-85mm lens kit after use the 85mm f1.8 for a while

After using the 85mm f1.8 for a while and get used to the image quality it provides, I am very disappointed with the 24-85mm f3.5-4.5. I can not accept it IQ. At least for one thing it served me to discover that I love the focal length of 24mm. Too bad it does not have a 24mm f1.8! The 24mm f1.4 is too expensive for me.
