Win8 user experience tested by Jakob Nielsen

Nielsen has put one of the best studies on the Win8 topic online. I fully support all his findings and I'm highly impressed (in a negative sense) that MS made almost everything wrong.

It seems that the desire to distinguish the Win8 UI from iOS and Android UI has led to this catastrophic design.

Even more I'm pretty sure that the departure of some high ranking MS managers isn't just a coincidence.

The whole product launch of Win8/WP8 and the new hardware (smartphones, tablets, ...) is a total almost epic fail. I wonder when the stock market will take all this into account.
