Back to Basics

I'd love to see Canon or Nikon come out with a rugged high res digital camera without video, scene mode or effects filters. Yes, I can choose not to use these features on the current crop of cameras, but I don't want the liabilities (cost, complexity and reliability) associated with these features.

Just weather seals, PASM with high flash sync would due for me.
