16-50 versus my Pany LX5: results

I received my NEX-6 with 16-50 about 10 days ago, but had been dismayed while reading reports of the 16-50 being not-so-hot. So, I figured I would compare it with my LX5. I know the LX5 is a small sensor camera but in many ways it is just a smaller version of the NEX6 with the new pancake kit zoom. I have always thought that when the LX5 was used at F4 (in aperture priority) that the results were plenty "sharp enough".
Anyway, I wrote several blog posts with examples comparing these two cameras at three focal lengths they share: 24, 50 and 70.
The 16-50 definitely gave better results, both in the center and edges... at least in good light in base ISO.
