It's slightly more complicated than that. The new Panasonic bodies offer electronic shutters, which eliminate shutter shock effects which could even affect tripod mounted shots sometimes. So far Olympus bodies have not started having this feature.
well, I wanted to keep things simple for a beginning. Further on the OM-D, using the 1/8 sec. antishock is a very good workaround. Personnally, I won't trade the larger DR of the OM-D for the G5 electronic shutter which comes with other disadvantage as soon as you are shooting at moving target and can't be used with the flash. I prefer to use the antishock as described above.
