At long focal lengths, smaller sensors have big attractions

Does anyone using the Panasonic 100-300 have any regrets. So far as I thought I needed this range but found the 45-200 more manageable say at the long end.

I have the 100-300 and use it occasionally. It is a very good lens, but I find it rather too large and cumbersome for easy use hand held (and I rarely carry a tripod).

Would I buy it today? Probably not - I think the Panasonic FZ200 produces nearly as good images at less cost and much more convenience (smaller size, weight, and no need to change lenses).

I would certainly continue to use MFT cameras for the shorter focal lengths, however.
