Z990 how to bracket shoot?
If you have not found out yet, here is the answer:
In PSMA mode. In the menu on top. Scroll to the "Wrench" setting (which is at the end of the menu). Select it and scroll down to the Exposure Bracketing. Select it, you will be able to select off, +/- 0.3, +/- 0.7 or +/- 1.0. Select your refer bracketing. Then shoot. The camear will take 3 pictures with your selected bracketing range. But remember to turn it to 'off' when you're done with it. It would not reset to "off" even you turn off the camera, so you need to manually turn it off when you're done with it.
Please also check the firm ware in your camera if it is V1.2, if not download the latest version and the extend user guide from Kodak site while it is still available.-- hide signature --

thanks for the comprehensive answer.
On my Z990, I have firmware v1.12 (not 1.2), checked with kodak support and I have the latest firmware. I follow your instructions and and I am unable to set the camera other than the "off" position on bracket choices. Either by using the 4-way button or the scroll button on my cam. This is on P or M setting, it refuses to go off of "off" setting.
I will try to reinstall the firmware again and report back.
watch out for the rattlers...
