How best to handle FZ200 RAW files? As simply as possible?

If you are new to post processing go with photoshop elements. I think 11 is the latest. It will handle raw the same as its more costly brothers and will probably be more than you will ever need.  Add a good noise reducing plug in.

The whole set up will cost you about $150.

If you want to do movies you can go with premier elements.

I used Elements for about 7 years and only went to cs5 because they offered it to me for $300. It will do most processing that all but the experts will require.
