K-01 shoots fashion

Went this weekend to the American Photo Model Shoot in New York City. Chose to bring the K-01 instead of the K-5, and brought the FA31mm F1.8 and DA70mm F2.4 Limited. The DA21 was in the bag as well but I only used if for a handful of shots outside.

Overall, I was quite pleased with the K-01. When the conditions were right, it is capable of very very nice photos. The DA70 is an old friend; the FA31 on the other hand is quite new to me and I'm still coming to grips with its strengths and weaknesses. Thus my most successful photos are with the DA70. I'm still processing, but here are some samples:

Overall, I really enjoyed the K01 and Limiteds for this, particularly composing for square format. Live View allowed me to compose shots that would have been more challenging with the K-5 OVF. Overall, a good time was had.
