This image is from 5 shots (I know, more is better) stacked in RegiStax5, pretty much default setting since this was my first attempt. And then a tiny bit (1) of high-pass filter in Photoshop.
The Great Red Spot is on the back of Jupiter at the time of this shot.
I sounds like stacking works better with video (i.e. MANY frames) so I'l be trying that next ... when it decides to clear up again.
Thats a fantastic shot! Dont tell me thats Io (innermost large bright moon - albeit defocused) at the 7 o clock position? Or is it an artifact?
If it is, to have it included in this shot.. Marvelous work.
I would love to see what you can do with Saturn.
