Please Be Brutally Honest With Me

There is something about contests that are judged by people with little or no experience with many aspects of photography that get me uptight. Like others have stated don't be to cynical of yourself about your shot. I think its a good shot ,,,but from experience with having a photo website over the years people seem to enjoy and gravitate towards color,,,like fall scene landscapes, or colorful scenes. Its like if you throw a box of black and white crayons and one of those mega colored box of crayons on a table filled with first graders,,,they are going to go after the color box every time. I bet if you captured that scene in the fall and leaves on the ground it might have fared better. Personally I really like the shot and would include it in a calender for myself.
