I used to be the 'designated photog' at events, but I'm slacking off of that. I think one of the main reasons is because I'm becoming increasingly discriminating with my imagemaking; if I'm going to take pictures, I'm going to want to control lighting, DOF, etc. I dislike snapshots more and more.
